New Balance becomes new supplier of TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen

New outfit - new energy: Bayer 04 Leverkusen's athletics department proudly presents New Balance as its new partner for the coming season. We were given the exclusive opportunity to portray two of the club's faces, Jonathan Dahlke and Marlene Meier, for the announcement of the new kit. Find out what perspectives are opening up and other reasons for the partnership.

The athletics department of TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen has found a new supplier in New Balance. The athletes will be wearing the new outfits at the upcoming German Indoor Championships on February 21 and 22 in Dortmund. The video about the new partnership can also be seen there.

New Standards in Track and Field

This partnership goes beyond pure equipment and aims to jointly set new standards in track and field. Malte Kalsbach, Managing Director of the Track and Field Department, emphasizes: "Our discussions with New Balance were inspiring from the start and went far beyond a classic equipment partnership. The visit to the New Balance headquarters and Sports Research Lab in Boston deeply impressed us - the company's professionalism, innovative strength and high quality standards are exceptional."

From July 1, 2025, New Balance will also equip the entire football department of Bayer 04 Leverkusen. This expanded partnership opens up new perspectives for the Bayer Sports Family and sport under the Bayer cross.

The two model athletes Jonny Dahlke and Marlene Meier are also looking forward to competing in the first races in their new outfits and pursuing their goals together with New Balance. The new partnership with her club is particularly helpful for the German 100m hurdles champion: Marlene has been under contract with New Balance since last year.
